In Tarot’s Minor Arcana, we have the numbered cards “Ace through 10” also known as the “Pips”. They are divided into four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. Each of these suits are associated with an element (fire, water, air, or earth) and are the “details” that make up the bigger picture in a reading.

In this class, Politti will guide you through each suit of the Minor Arcana discussing the meanings of the numbered cards and what they represent as particular areas and approaches to life. We will also learn about numerology, basic astrological correspondences, color meanings, symbology and more associated with each of the numbered cards in the Minor Arcana.

We will be using and studying the Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) Tarot deck. It is recommended that each student bring their own Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot Deck (or one based on the RWS system).

This is a hands-on class, and we will have Tarot reading practice time reading for each other – SO BE SURE TO BRING YOUR TAROT DECK! Hand-outs will be provided. Please bring a notebook and a pen or pencil to take notes.

This class is in-person at Mama Santee’s House. Space is limited to 12 students.
