Understanding Tarot with Politti: Reversals

In a Tarot reading, a “reversal” is the term for a Tarot card that presents as upside down.

Reversals in a Tarot reading could mean many different things such as: the opposite meaning of that card when upright, that there is a blockage in the querent’s life specifically related to that card, it can highlight the shadow or undesirable aspects of that card, show that there is a lack of that energy or too much of the energy of that card, and so much more.

In this class we will explore different ways to interpret reversed Tarot cards in a reading and dispel any fears one might have reading reversed cards.

We will be using and studying the Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) Tarot deck. It is recommended that each student bring their own Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot Deck (or one based on the RWS system).

This is a hands-on class, and we will have Tarot reading practice time reading for each other – SO BE SURE TO BRING YOUR TAROT DECK! Hand-outs will be provided. Please bring a notebook and a pen or pencil to take notes.

This class is in-person at Mama Santee’s House or online. Space is limited to 12 students in- person and unlimited online
